The start of the William 4 foundation coincides with a period in which the political structure of the Dutch Antilles is changing.
It is also a time with renewed attention towards and within Suriname itself.
All projects that arise (or be will be initiated by the foundation it self) are based on CSR. Examples are:
• strengthening of craft, learning situations in the workplace, impulses to digital developments
(and the knowledge necessary for it)
• promotion of entrepreneurship by starting with incubator programs;
• combining strengths in the area of care, health and disease;
• training and education in disadvantaged areas such as maritime, agrifood, forestry and water management
In parallel, also a high potential CSR on "What's strong must remain strong & made stronger", for example:
• Master classes with a focus on specific questions of managers and professionals from the profit, non-profit
and public sector;
• Application of new knowledgement and technology as an engine for the development of the reginal area;
• A Willem 4 nursery fund which supports socio-economic initiatives in the field level;
