Curaçao, The Nederlands, Suriname, 12 Augustus 2010
International Business Systems, Curaçao
- The Executive Master of Management and Organisation study trip to Curaçao in November 2010 will be hosted by Willem4, as part of the foundation’s partnership with Tias Nimbas Business School.
Curaçao Business Journal, Curaçao
- This project involves the introduction of cross-media in Curaçao, and has the aim of establishing a cross-media campus.
Curaçao Baseball campus, Curaçao
- This project relates to a multifunctional centre for education, sport and welfare in Curaçao. The parties involved in this project have entered into a joint venture. More support and funding are being sought.
Curaçao Sail, Curaçao
- The Amsterdam clipper tall ship is expected to arrive in Curaçao in early 2011. Willem4 is involved in this and is also working with the Curaçao Sail Foundation on setting up maritime training courses.
Beachsand, Curaçao
- A request for beach sand has been received from Curaçao. Willem4 is providing intermediary services for the delivery of this sand.
Shipping Finance, Nederland
- Willem4 is playing an intermediary role in arranging funding for the expansion of a fleet.
Technovator, Suriname
- Discussions are being held on the setting up of a coaching programme for people who have recently completed a technical study programme and are interested in a career in business. Alliances are being sought with training institutes for this purpose.
Development for Suriname society, Suriname
- Willem4 has drawn up proposals for a large-scale housing construction project in Suriname. An apprenticeship company forms part of this project proposal. The foundation is also drawing up plans for innovations in agriculture and animal husbandry, the sale of fishery products and the expansion of fish farming.
Luchtvaartproject, Suriname
- Willem4 has set up a joint venture for an aviation project for Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport. This project is in addition to a secondment project for specialist personnel.
